Total dive bar. Men's restroom is wallpapered in Play oy centerfolds from the 90s and 90s. Beer tasted like the tap lines were last cleaned around the same time.
Staff is fun and friendly, drinks are always satisfactory. And even if there's a drink they don't know how to make? They're happy to learn on the fly.
I went to Shorts Bar and Grill to spend time with a couple of friends when I was visiting home. What negatively impacted the whole experience for me was the pornography that is all over the walls of the men's bathroom in Shorts. I was taken aback by pictures of topless women in many places in the men's bathroom and was very uncomfortable. I would advise nobody to go to Shorts for their own health and wellbeing and so as to not support an establishment that shows pornography. These pictures are dehumanizing to those women and cause others to objectify them. In addition, these pictures trivialize how we view human nature and sex. It's these kinds of attitudes that lead to sexual exploitation and other kinds of harm to men, women, children, and teens of all ages. It is for these reasons why I give Shorts one out of five stars and would advise people not to go there. I also would formally ask Shorts to remove these pictures and any others like it in the location.
Just simple, old fashioned, friendly service with good drinks and food at a price that doesn't break the bank. Best place in Fairport!
Great cheers type of bar with plenty of Tv's for games or bar games for a night out with friends.
Prices aren't bad, and the food has always been piping hot and fresh.
What is something of a quaint environment becomes a hopping to-do in Fairport on the weekends, when karaoke starts. Met a lot of cool people and made a lot of good memories. And the bartenders interact with you like people.
The food has gone down hill dramatically. Service was only good with Nappy or Kev. Currently have new cooks with no idea what their doing. Breaded wings, mine served undercooked. I've been banned for saying my wings were poorly made. Haley pours the worst mixed drinks ever. The owner is never there and has no idea what really goes on. He puts on a face for everyone. Good night's are wing nights and free pool and darts. Other than that I'd never recommend. Personally know 3 cooks that worked there who were treated extremely poorly. Some locals love it, others hate it and wouldn't step in. Had a chicken sandwhich tonight. Took an hour to get it. Worse than mcdonald's. Down graded the chicken and buns. Many bars in the area worth going to. AVOID.
