First and last time I will come to Fairpour. We had a party of 6, ordered 5 meals and 1 was forgotten. We were the only customers in the cafe ordering food. How do you forget an order? I do not recommend and will not return.
I love their pour-over coffee! This is a small, quiet, cozy spot right on the corner of the canal and the bridge in Fairport. It’s hard to find the entrance; you park in the back and enter through The Box Factory, then walk all the way to the front. Also, they have a lemon-blueberry crêpe that is fantastic!!
This is the best place in the Rochester area for coffee in my opinion. A lot of the coffee is from Glen Edith which roasts amazing coffee, but even their shop is not as good as Fairpour. The views are nice, atmosphere is great, and just an overall extremely comfortable place to drink coffee. As for the quality of the coffee, the cold brew is smooth and delicious, the Glen Edith Ethiopian pour over coffee is some of the best coffee I've ever has, if not THE best. Highly, highly recommend this place because it's truly the best coffee shop in the Rochester area.
Overall, I'm glad they're trying new things because it's working and I will definitely be back.
Had a wonderful experience at FairPour last Thursday. The renovation of the space really made it a comfortable atmosphere to come in and enjoy my coffee. One of the specials that day was the hot maple cinnamon latte and it was out of this world. Their fresh juices served in mason jars were a big hit for my buddy as they were cold pressed and a reasonable price.
I'd like to come back for happy hour especially in the Spring because they have he perfect location to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer. They have Space Kitty on tap as well as a pretty solid local beer selection that I was impressed with.
Great coffee options and the environment is cozy inside. They offer beer too. The views from the inside are a little limited but you can see the lift bridge. Don't look for cheap coffee.
