I wanted to cancel my car wash subscription with Perinton Express Car Wash because I hardly went there over twice a month in the past year or so. In the last week of September, I went to the office and an associate came to welcome me. The cancellation process was very friendly and fairly simple, all I had to do was to sign a form for cancellation and I was told by the associate that the subscription will end by the end of September and I will not be charged anymore.
On October 4th, I received a phone call from the owner of Perinton Express Car Wash. He told me that I did not give them a two-week notice for cancelling the subscription therefore I was charged for October and will not refund. I asked how the heck I know there is a two-week notice required for cancelling a car wash subscription? He said it was written in the contract/receipt at the time of signing up the subscription. I told him that the associate confirmed my cancellation in the last week of September and I will not be charged anymore, shouldn’t I trust the word from the associate who works here? The owner then asked who the associate was and told me he will need to re-train him. At this point, I stopped arguing with him because I lost my faith to this place, mostly to the owner of this local family-owned business that I thought would be nice to support.
Damaged my truck would not fix what they damaged. I highly recommend nobody else to go here... Spend the extra money and go to Sonic, better quality and they are very helpful and friendly. Then when the owner called me back , he told me it's not his problem it's the person who painted the trucks problem.my truck is brand new I'm the first owner or it.... So if you go here and damage is done to your vehicle there not going to make it right!!! They are scumbags!!!!

On October 1st, I received an email receipt for October that I was charged for another month of subscription. I simply thought maybe Perinton Express Car Wash did not process my cancellation on time so I took time and went back again to the office on Monday October 3rd. A different associate came out to talk to me, he was also very friendly. He talked to me to understand the situation and told me that he will let the owner know and give me a refund.
The location is convenient and usually not overcrowded. I had good experience here and wanted to support local family-owned businesses. Everything was good until I went to cancel my monthly subscription, which left a really bad taste in my mouth.
I have a monthly pass so can obtain a car wash at any time. The wash usually lasts a long time, perhaps because of the wax they use. My car looks great even after it rains on it.
