Changing my review from 2 stars to 1 star. I went to see them in person after nearly 4 months of not getting my fiances wedding ring. It only needed to be resized. They said it had been, so I went to pick it up. Come to find out I was never in their system, the ring had never been resized, and they ordered it in the wrong metal. This was after I gave them a $600 deposit and waited 4 months!! I hope this place gets shut down soon so no one else has to experience it. When we finally did get the band, the diamonds were wrong and the ring shape (half rounded) was not what we ordered. I hope I never have to set foot in this place again.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I DROP OFF A WATCH TO THEM!!! Change a battery, yes no problems there.
Friendly people, but absolutely abysmal customer service. My fiance and I bought our wedding bands here and it took well over 3 months to actually get them.
I had to call repeatedly every few weeks to get an update and every time the person I needed to talk to was "running errands" or "out of the office" or "with another client". Phone calls weren't returned for weeks and every time they DID answer the phone, they never actually tell you who you're speaking with and act like you're crazy for calling them again. It's extremely awkward to talk to anyone at this store and they didn't follow up with us ONCE. We had to chase after them every time.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because they saved us about $1,600 on a custom wedding band vs. a competitor, but I would have happily paid more money if I had known how bad the customer service was going to be.
I've had two of my rings fixed here. The first came back fixed, but two sizes too small, and the second was completely ruined. The gem was removed from the damage, but was put into the wrong shaped set, and it overall looked really sloppy. Unprofessional staff, and rude behavior. Will not be returning, and will need to spend even more money fixing what this place broke.
Good merchandise, but not worth the hassle with non-existent customer service.
I dropped off my watch February of last year 2015 and still today I'm getting the run around, well the "guy" can't get parts etc.... I finally told them forget about it I just want the watch back. Now I'm getting we left messages with our person that does our work for us and he hasn't got back with us yet!!! Check back with us in about a week or so!!!
I've used Canalside twice for engraving an image and letters on a charm for a bracelet. Five years ago, they were great. This time... pretty awful. Whomever they are using evidently doesn't use a template, at least for engraving a circle and the stroke clearly displays uneven pressure. Can't speak to other services they offer but I wouldn't trust them for a simple engraving now.
