Mike and Bob were efficient and friendly, even though my move was a bit tricky due to a narrow staircase. I was really pleased with the service and look forward to using their service in the future!
After 36 years living in the same home, we decided to move. I hired EZ Movers to move from old to new house in July 2017. Bob, Mike, Steve and Jim were very professional and patient with everything! You can imagine there was a lot of accumulation after 36 years, but they took it in stride, loaded up old house , stopped to pick up some things I had stored on the way to new home, then unpacked and assembled things that had to be disassembled to move, and put each item in the designated room. They made the entire process so much less stressful than I expected, and I highly recommend them!
Wouldn't use anyone else.
BEWARE: I would be very careful before hiring E-Z Movers. Our circumstance were unique but you will never know if they cause damage to your property if they will take responsibility and cover the damages. We had to submit a claim to our insurance and pay the deductible. The damages cost just about the same as the cost of the movers. So when you are quoted a price, you might want to figure double the price to cover damages caused by negligent workers.
BEWARE : The crew of three showed up on time and were very efficient. As the day wore on things changed. They wouldn’t come in one of the two driveways because of the trees. They choose the other driveway and used the connecting driveway to get to the entrance that they wanted to use. The only problem was, the electrical wires to the house that were certified to be legal by the electric company for personal property, were low wires. The crew watched and inched their way under and were able to proceed with unloading. Once again the crew worked well, they started to unload items that were to go into our basement. They put them on the deck so they could reload them on the truck and drive around to the basement door to unload. When all items were unloaded, the driver moved the van back under the wire. That is when everything went terribly wrong. Two of the members who were putting up beds realized the driver had moved the truck prior to reloading the truck with the basement items. The driver backed the truck up and into to the wires on the house and pulled the wires down and bending the mast. Not only did they cause damage to our house but they blamed us for the wires being too low. They had many options, two driveways, several doors to enter the home and turning the truck around with spotters. The driver choose none of these options but continued to blame us for the wires. When we first spoke to the owner, we were left with the impression that they were going to do nothing. The next day, I spoke to the owner and he indicated they were speaking to their insurance company. A few days later, before we could even get the damages repaired we received a letter from their insurance company telling us it was our fault.
