I got my haircut here are few days ago. Usually I go here because its inexpensive and they do a good job at cutting hair. This time around my hair came out ok... and heres why. I asked the lady to trim off the dead ends and clean up my layers, which happened, but she did it in a weird way. Instead of keeping my part the way it normally falls she parted it down the middle and started cutting. I have a side part. I though this was pretty strange because usually I get the question " Is the way your hair is parted how you normally part your hair?" So... I let her do her thing. she then moved on to the face frame. I asked her to blend the bangs I was growing out into the frame. This didn't happen. The "face frame" stopped at my chin and the rest was just straight. It looked as if my bangs we just added to. When I got home I finished the face frame and made it go all the way down like it should. All I had to do was watch a tutorial on youtube. I am giving this a 3 star because I realize that the one persons mistake isn't the whole shops. And yeah, maybe she misunderstood me, but it was disappointing when I had to repeat myself 3 times on how I wanted the face frame and it didn't even end up how I wanted it.

Yikes, hopefully the stylist I had was just having a bad day. Talked about how hungry she was and whether her lunch would be cold by the time she got to it 6 times (yes, I counted!). Told me that she was having a very stressful day, dropped her comb and kicked it so it wedged under my purse and there it stayed until I picked up my purse at the end of my cut. Also told me what I wanted for a style couldn't be done. What? I've had it done before sooooo, ok. She rushed through my cut, said it looked great but I don't think it does. My gut told me not to stay for the cut after the awkward greeting she gave me (which included annoyance another stylist had gone on her lunch break early, and her first mention of her own lunch), I wish I had listened to my gut!! What a mess. This is the second location I have tried because I had a bad experience at the first. Won't give my money to Hairzoo again!
I have been coming here for many years and I have always had a great experience.
Good prices and not too often you have to wait long, but definitely hit or miss with the quality of the cut. It seems that as the "stylists" get experienced and good ... they leave. Then new, inexperienced ones are hired in their place. This would be fine except that they seem to be just thrown to the wolves, so to speak, without a good training program or guidelines on what cuts/services they are qualified to perform.
